The flower ministry began in our church when Pastor Eric became our minister. Lois Thran and Ken Dressler volunteered to do the flowers for our Easter service and were then persuaded to also do our Christmas decorations.  The program continues to this day, largely in part to the donations they receive from congregational members.  These funds are also used during other Sundays when flowers/palms are needed.  Those who donate are encouraged to take one of the decorative flowers after it has been used in the church.  Those not claimed are taken by the committee to various valley assisted living facilities, accompanied with a note that it is a gift from their friends at Trinity.  Many are also delivered to church members who are confined to their homes.  When flowers are placed on the altar for Sunday worship and the giver does not wish to take them, they are rearranged into smaller bouquets and delivered to those who may be in need of some Trinity “cheer.”  The committee has always welcomed volunteers to assist with this successful outreach program.  Give us a call and be prepared for the happy reward you’ll receive.
